How can a story of insane corruption compare to Israeli Terrorism Against Innocent Palestinians?

The fact that Palestinian diplomats openly talk about how they say one thing in Arabic, and say something completely, outrageously different in English… (And, how it’s a good thing) …How they speak atrocious lies to the diplomatic community while accusing the Americans and Europeans of lying… Those facts can mean nothing in the face of Israeli Terrorism Against Innocent Palestinians.

Yes, the Palestinians are engaged in the vilest of outrageous hypocrisies, but I say that this charge is completely eclipsed by Israeli Terrorism Against Innocent Palestinians!

In fact, I was even going to show you this video:

I was going to show that video to you, but now I can’t.

I was going to gleefully point out the incredibly brazen, contemptible and two-faced hypocrisy of the Palestinian thugs running the Palestinian Authority. But, I can say nothing about any of that. Nothing. Because I have discovered terrible evidence of Israeli Terrorism Against Innocent Palestinians.

Please, if there are little children in the room, you must ask them to leave because I need to show you this video of Israeli Terrorism Against Innocent Palestinians.

It was bad right?

I was so shocked by the video myself that I could only get as far as the little kid on the beach sitting in the puddle of water. (Little kids sitting in puddles of water are always a bad sign.)

I hope that the terrible atrocities depicted in the video above of Israeli Terrorism Against Innocent Palestinians don’t keep you from having a great weekend.

And, the blatant lies, open deceit, and outrageous hypocrisy of the Palestinians?

I guess that you’ll just have to hear about that somewhere else.

Of course, the Palestinians haven’t said much about what they plan to do if they succeed in forcing Israel to withdraw from Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. In Nazi Germany, they called it Judenrein. Today, they would call it, No Jews Allowed. Here’s a quote from IsraelToday:

The Palestinine Liberation Organization (PLO) ambassador to the US, Maen Areikat, told reporters in Washington on Tuesday that the Palestinian state his regime is trying to gain recognition for at the UN next week should be free of Jews.

“I think it would be in the best interest of the two people to be separated,” said Areikat. Of course, any talk by Israeli politicians of removing Arabs from the Jewish state is immediately branded as racism and aggressively dismissed by the international community.

Israeli and Jewish leaders were incensed by the Palestinian official’s remarks.

I’d never really thought too much about the idea of what would happen to those Jews living among the Palestinians. But, that’s without considering that the holiest of Jewish holy sites are in what the Palestinian Authority want to call the State of Palestine. Religious Jews would naturally want to be close to those sites, and have regular access to them. Not so, according to the Palestinians.

No, according to the Palestinians, a future Palestinian state will be entirely Jew free. No Jews in Judea. No Jews in Samaria. No Jews in Jerusalem. If they succeed in their bid for statehood, the State of Palestine would be the only state since Hitler’s Germany to enact laws forbidding Jews from living among them.

And, the liberal media supports this travesty?

But, that’s the future. Let’s talk a Little bit about what has lead us to this point:

Pay attention to what Danny Ayalon says about 4:14 into the video. He mentions Ehud Olmert’s offer of 100% – with minor land swaps. (Sorta like President Obama’s idea, right?). The result:

In his article in the Jerusalem Post, titled Father of the Iranian Revolution, Michael Evans talks about the origins of the Islamic terrorist quagmire that we are in, and writes:  

The truth is the entire nightmare can be traced back to the liberal democratic policies of the leftist Jimmy Carter, who created a firestorm that destabilized our greatest ally in the Muslim world, the shah of Iran, in favor of a religious fanatic, the ayatollah Khomeini.

Carter viewed Khomeini as more of a religious holy man in a grassroots revolution than a founding father of modern terrorism. Carter’s ambassador to the UN, Andrew Young, said “Khomeini will eventually be hailed as a saint.” Carter’s Iranian ambassador, William Sullivan, said, “Khomeini is a Gandhi-like figure.” Carter adviser James Bill proclaimed in a Newsweek interview on February 12, 1979 that Khomeini was not a mad mujahid, but a man of “impeccable integrity and honesty.”

The shah was terrified of Carter. He told his personal confidant, “Who knows what sort of calamity he [Carter] may unleash on the world?”

We need people with morals and passion in the White House. We need someone who understands the battle between Good and Evil, and is willing to give full support to the side of the Good, and wage war against the Evil.

Jimmy Carter was someone of incredible moral character who hadn’t become corrupted by the compromises that American politics forces one to make. He was a man of ideals. He was a man of belief and passion. Unfortunately, he was unable to identify those that were Good, and routinely supported those that were Evil.

Dr. Evans goes on to illustrate what most of us have known about our boy Jimmy: 

Carter pressured the shah to make what he termed human rights concessions by releasing political prisoners and relaxing press censorship. Khomeini could never have succeeded without Carter. The Islamic Revolution would have been stillborn.

Gen. Robert Huyser, Carter’s military liaison to Iran, once told me in tears: “The president could have publicly condemned Khomeini and even kidnapped him and then bartered for an exchange with the [American Embassy] hostages, but the president was indignant. ‘One cannot do that to a holy man,’ he said.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has donned the mantle of Ayatollah Khomeini, taken up bin Laden’s call, and is fostering an Islamic apocalyptic revolution in Iraq with the intent of taking over the Middle East and the world.

But, down the page in his article, Evans makes a point that I had forgotten, and it’s worth the whole article (or even the book):

KHOMEINI HAD the help of the PLO in Iran. They supplied weapons and terrorists to murder Iranians and incite mobs in the streets. No wonder Yasser Arafat was hailed as a friend of Khomeini after he seized control of Iran and was given the Israeli Embassy in Teheran with the PLO flag flying overhead.  

Our friend, Yasser Arafat. The man that we love and admire. If the West had supported Israel like they should have, there would have been no PLO, and there would have been no Islamic Iranian Revolution. Our insane, tragic tale gets more and more insane.

Dr. Evans ends his article with this:  

I sat in the home of Gen. Huyser, who told me the shah feared he would lose the country if he implemented Carter’s polices. Carter had no desire to see the shah remain in power. He really believed that a cleric – whose Islamist fanaticism he did not understand in the least – would be better for human rights and Iran.

He could have changed history by condemning Khomeini and getting the support of our allies to keep him out of Iran.

There are times and places in which a single man or woman can make all the difference in the world. Jimmy Carter was just such a man at just such a time and place, and he did make all the difference in the world.

The wrong one.

In response, a humiliated Arab world expelled their Jewish citizenry, and Egypt, the USSR, and the PLO redoubled their efforts against Israel. Egyptian artillery dueled with Israeli artillery. Israeli and Egyptian pilots fought for control of the skies of the Sinai. The PLO sent waves of terrorists across the border. By the time a new cease fire was agreed upon, this War of Attrition would produce almost as many casualties as the Six Day War.

At the same time, Israel struggled to integrate hundreds of thousands of Jews that had been expelled from Arab countries with little more than the clothes on their back. It was a reenactment of a previous generation. Just twenty years before, Israel had been forced to integrate another massive wave of refugees.

There also ensued a massive propaganda war, and Arab spin doctors found a willing audience in the leadership of Europe and much of the US. However, Israel found itself supported by an unexpected ally: Evangelical Christians. Christians flocked to the holy places of Israel and demanded that their political representatives support Israel.

The United States government also slowly woke up to this new situation on the ground in the Middle East. Not only were Evangelicals demanding that the government support Israel, but Cold War strategists were beginning to see Israel as a new ally in the undeclared ‘war’ with the USSR.

But to Israel, the most important situation of all was the realization that she was alive and kicking.

What has me so annoyed THIS time?

The Palestinians, of course.

Thanks to Israel, Palestinians are better educated than any other group of Arabs anywhere. They have more engineers, more doctors, more teachers, more everything. When Israel took over the West Bank from the Jordanians, Israel imposed a school system unprecedented in the Arab world.

Israel, of course, was hoping that an ‘enlightened’ populace would do the smart thing and try to find a way to peace. And, it was working.

Then, along came the Oslo accords. Grateful at being recognized as having a right to exist, Israel welcomed the PLO in with open arms, shouting for joy that it was ‘peace in our time’.

You can understand Israel’s excitement. Here was the dream of a lifetime. Here was an opportunity to end the horrendous suffering.

I was there, so I understand.

I also understand the PLO’s position. A grassroots leadership was growing in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Young Palestinians were finding their voice, and the PLO was finding itself disenfranchised.

So, they did the deal. PLO in. Grassroots leadership out.

What was the first thing that the PLO did?

Destroy the Palestinian educational system and turn it into a tool for murder and mayhem. Almost two decades later, Palestinian society is destroyed, and they are STILL at it. Here’s a quote from the Jerusalem Post about the latest report to the Kenesset from Palestinian Media Watch:

“According to these books,” Marcus told the MKs, “the war over this land is a war for Muslim land, and will end only with the resurrection of the dead.” The books teach that “recognition of Israel is forbidden by religion,” he said.

Palestinian Media Watch went on to say:

PMW director Itamar Marcus told the Education Committee that the new schoolbooks were – for the first time – uniquely focused on portraying the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a religious war.
