Iran is gleefully predicting that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt will tear up the peace agreement with Israel. This is from Amin al-Sayed Ibrahim, head of Hezbollah’s political council. And his comments were made during the International Conference on Islamic Awakening and the Youths in Teheran.

You would expect someone like Mr. Ibrahim to know whether a statement like this is plausable. Unfortunately, those of us who worry about Israel’s safety know that this is not only plausable, but inevitable. Worse yet is the realization that a torn up peace agreement will mean war not long after.

The murder of the Fogel family was one of the most sick and depraved acts of murder that anyone has seen in a long, long time. And, the smiling, exultant faces of the murderers plumbed the depths of depravity even further.

We now have a whole society rallying around and praising this despicable depravity.

God judges a society not just by what they do, but also by what they allow – and even more by what they celebrate. The official voice of the Palestinian people has praised one of the worst examples of inhumanity that I have ever seen, and not one Palestinian voice has been heard to protest this atrocity.

Believe it or not, I don’t like seeing ANY country falling apart.

I don’t like seeing the Palestinians falling apart. I don’t like seeing Iran fall apart. I don’t want to see ANYONE fall  apart.

And, that goes for Syria.

Unfortunately, they’ve brought it on themselves, so there is a sense of poetic justice here. But, ‘poetic justice’ doesn’t feed a starving population, or bring men and women back from the dead.

Nor does it mean that any successful revolution in Syria will learn to be a good neighbor to those countries around them. Very few revolutions end up with benign governments, and I fear that this Syrian revolution will be but the first in a number of bloody revolts.

The latest Islamic Republic has the attention of the Obama administration. In this era of budget deficits and economic hardship… the Obama administration is intent on ACCELERATING aid to Egypt. That’s right, the same Egypt that just elected a parliament that was 75% Islamist.

A parliament that is about to create the latest Islamist constitution.

And, Obama wants to ACCELERATE aid to Egypt?

No. No, that must be a misprint. Let me check that again…

No, they really said that.

Is there any doubt anymore that this president needs to be demoted to… oh, say… janitor?

No, really. You read that right.

…and, you won’t hear the press saying anything about it, which is par for the course. But, here is a leader of an Arab village openly saying that life under Israeli rule is BETTER than life under Arab rule.

No, he’s not saying that Israeli rule is perfect. I’ve lived under Israeli rule, and I can tell you that Israelis are as prone to foolishness and mismanagement and general stupidity as anyone you’d find in… oh… Washington D.C.

And, because the world doesn’t want to hear anything good about Israel… well, this kind of news goes nowhere. But, let’s not worry about that and let the rest of the world will destroy itself by its own foolishness.
