Sorry Ron, Can’t Do It

Last night’s debates showed me that there is one presidential candidate that I just cannot vote for.

Ron Paul.

He just doesn’t support Israel, and considers Israel to be no different than any other country in the world. Israel IS different, and that’s why I do not want Ron Paul to become the President of the United States of America.

There are other problems with his platform, but I can now safely ignore them.

I’d rather let Obama stay in the White House and wreck the United States even further. We would at least be getting what we deserved.

And, how dare Ron equate Israel with Egypt?

He’s not just a bad candidate, he’s a fool.

  1. Hey John,

I guess this is one we are going to have to agree to disagree. The context of Ron’s statement is that we need to take care of our own budget and that the United States continues to send millions/billions of dollars out of this country in aid and it isn’t making it into the hands of those that need it. We here in the states are on the brink of financial ruin. You have stated that yourself. We MUST cut our spending and I agree with Ron and others that money going out of this country must go to those that need it. He was saying fair and equitable cuts to ALL foreign nations and yes, that would include Isreal. No favorites, just cutting across the board.

  2. Hey Kevin,

I can see your point. It certainly IS true that he’s not singling out Israel for special consideration.

However, I believe that it is our (wavering) support for Israel that has been one of the few redeeming features of America. God loves Israel more than any other place on earth, and if we abandon her in her time of great need… we’re doomed.

We’ve murdered almost 60 million babies since Roe v. Wade. We are the single most prolific publishers of pornography on the planet. The corrupting influence of our TV and movie industries reaches around the globe. More than 50% of all marriages among Christians end in divorce. The rate of infidelity among pastors is an abomination.

    Need I go on?

What keeps God from doing to us what He did to Israel three thousand years ago?

God bless you, Kevin. Keep up the good work.
