When Yossi sent me that picture of the nuns with rifles, I couldn’t help myself. I just had to post it, and waiting until Monday was just ‘not on’. But, it’s Monday now, and Mondays are for sober reflection. No laughing allowed (although a chuckle or two is permissible).
First of all, there are some who don’t know that when a Muslim man dies while defending Islam, Muslims, or for any other ‘righteous’ reason, that man goes to heaven where he can expect to have 70 virgins waiting for him.

Yossi sent me this, and I thought that this was just too funny to let the weekend pass without posting it.

I wonder if the numbers of suicide attacks would decrease, if this was distributed to the Jihadi training camps.
Just a thought.

I had a thought about who should be president. Or, more importantly, who should NOT be president. This isn’t about who has the best ideas, or who would be the most effective. It’s not about ideology. It’s not even about values.
Y’all are going to have to make that decision for yourselves. I’m not even sure that I am qualified to give advice on which candidate would be good for America. But, there is one thing that I CAN do: tell you how other countries perceive each candidate – at least how Middle East countries perceive the candidates. Or, more importantly, a candidate named Hillary.

Our boy Ahmadinejad has extricated himself from a rather difficult situation and won back a few of the PR points that he lost internationally, and gained A LOT of publicity domestically – which is what he is MOST concerned about right now.
The friends and family of the British sailors breathed a sigh of relief. The British government breathed a sigh of relief. The United States breathed a sigh of relief.
In fact, everyone probably breathed a sigh of relief.
It could have gone very, very bad very, very quickly.

It is year two zero zero seven on day four of month four, which means that I am four zero years old. I think that I’d rather be in de-Nile.
See you tomorrow!
