We are going to do nothing.

I don’t need to sit in on any cabinet meetings. I don’t need to look at the directives to the CIA or MI6. I don’t need to see the order of battle for NATO troop deployment.

I just KNOW.

How do I know? Well, I live in a country, Israel, that must live every day with the results of what other countries refuse to do.

Here’s my favorite quote on this subject:

“All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.”
– Edmund Burke

The Unthinkable

So, what do we do?

Terrorists are a threat, but they are a threat that we can handle and, eventually, live with. We will develop security measures. We will punish those who support them. We will find them where they live, and kill them.

Terrorism is a quantifiable threat that can be managed and, if managed properly, will not be a threat to national security. Okay, okay, only Israel manages the threat properly, but we can hope that the others are getting there.
